My mission is to improve best practices in policing by offering expert witness and police consultation services. I have helped both plaintiff and defense attorneys with an honest evaluation of the facts so that you know the strengths and weaknesses of the case, and determine how I can best help you.
34-year veteran large-department police leader. I spent 21 years as a sergeant and lieutenant, responsible for supervising, training and reviewing topics such as police pursuits, use of force, de-escalation, police supervision, less lethal weapons, active shooter, SWAT, crowd control, legal standards and more. I have a Master of Public Policy degree from Oregon State University. I teach police leaders across the country as adjunct faculty for Northwestern University at the School of Police Staff and Command.
I have experience assisting with expert reviews of policing best practices for pursuits, use of force, security, and a variety of legal standards for police. I provide my honest, unbiased opinion of the case. The initial contact is free, and we can then decide if we want to work together. I enjoy helping both plaintiff and defense attorneys with case review, expert witness reports, and deposition and trial testimony.
